This object belongs to valuable natural and cultural monuments of Poland, located 7 km north-east of Przemyśl. Trees, shrubs and shrubs are grown there for scientific, breeding and exhibition purposes. The arboretum was founded in 1975. Its contractor in the years 1975-2002 was dr hab. Jerzy Piórecki. In the first period, the Arboretum area was 9.23 ha, with time it was enlarged and currently covers 308.13 ha. It also has a branch in Cisowa with an area of 283.13 ha and a fort of 2.8 ha. In the gardens there are manor buildings from the end of the 18th century, which were renovated to serve as studios, museum rooms and social rooms. The Arboretum collection includes several thousand species, varieties, forms of aquatic, marsh, rare, endangered, disappearing and protected plants in the Polish flora, plants of the heather, greenhouse, utility and biblical family. The Natural History Museum is located in one of the manor houses, which presents exhibitions in the field of plant science or ornithology. One of the basic activities of the Arboretum is the organization of permanent and temporary exhibitions that are part of the extensive educational offer. Festivals such as the "Garden Festival" and "Derenia Festival" are also arranged here.
