Picturesquely located on the hill Wisłoka on the hill, the castle was built by the Ligęz family around the mid-15th century, being then the defensive seat of the village. In the 17th century, it was short-lived by the Tarnowski family. Destroyed during the Swedish invasion. From 1658, the building has been owned by the Lublin Voivode Władysław Rey and his family. The castle underwent reconstruction in the nineteenth century, characterized by a neo-Gothic style. The details of Renaissance and neo-Gothic architecture, a two-story tower and outbuildings have been preserved. A thorough renovation of the facility took place in 1980-1990. Currently, it houses a hotel and restaurant.
