Jewish cemetery founded in the second half of the 19th century, probably in the years 1860-1870. The cemetery covers an area of about one hectare and is located at ul. Okrzei. The necropolis was devastated by the Nazis during World War II - most of the tombstones were torn out and taken away. In 1946, survivors of the Holocaust, Krosno Jews erected some of the matzevot again in the cemetery. During the Second World War, the bodies of the murdered were brought here. In 1942, Krosno Jews were shot at the Israeli cemetery, in December 1942, several dozen Jews were buried in the mass grave, including the only rabbi of the Krosno Jewish community. This grave is located in the northeastern part of the cemetery. During the war, the cemetery was looted from most of the tombstones. Currently, the Jewish cemetery is the only trace of the presence of Jews in Krosno. About 250 matzevot in various conditions have survived at the cemetery. The most valuable is the statue of Bernard Münz from 1930 resembling a broken apple tree.
