Dobrków was founded in the 13th century. In the fourteenth century, it belonged to the property of the Toporczyk family, whose two representatives, Borysław and Andrzej, endowed the local church in 1358 and the parish established next to it, erected in the same year by the Bishop of Kraków Jan Bodzanta.
