Address: ul. Sandomierska 27 , 39-400 Tarnobrzeg

The 15th-century castle complex of the noble Tarnowski family, the Leliwa coat of arms located in Dzików, today's Tarnobrzeg district. Originally a brick tower manor, which in 1522 was bought from Andrzej of Ossolin by Jan Spytek Tarnowski. Once there was a chapel here, in which hung a miraculous image of the Mother of God Dzikowska. After the expansion and liquidation of the fortifications, the castle was given the character of a palace. In 1927 a fire broke out in the castle, only the oldest west wing survived. The reconstruction of the destroyed object was undertaken by prof. Wacław Krzyżanowski, giving the seat a baroque character. In 2011, the castle underwent a major renovation, which aimed to adapt it to the museum function. The cellars and attic were renovated and adapted for museum halls. Since then, the castle is the main seat of the Tarnobrzeg Historical Museum.
